Assassin’s Creed: Unity – Twitch Stream Playthrough – part 1
Part one of my playthrough of Assassin’s Creed: Unity, from my Twitch stream.
About ten minutes in, I change the audio out from linear PCM to DTS 5.1. Apparently, the new PS4 update killed my linear PCM 5.1 out, choosing to push stereo instead. So, I switched it, not knowing (stupidly) that the Elgato would then be unable to record sound (levels were still indicating sound coming in). So, I’ll get that fixed on the next stream.
Anyway, part one! It’s a slow start, like most Assassin’s Creed games, with the typical hilarious-to-outsiders frustrations, and some new glitches. There’s a new-ish control scheme – Arno feels more wibbly wobbly than past Assassin’s Creed characters – but this isn’t necessarily a bad thing, I get the feeling I’ll get use to it. His descent options are much better than past games, that’s for sure.
So far, I can already tell I liked Assassin’s Creed 4 better, the ship battles were just so great. We’ll see as I get deeper into the game.
